I cannot sleep, I want to eat
after-midnight-quarter-mobil-donut

I'm putting on my shoes
I'm hunting for some change
I look under the mattress
I knock my tapes over
some videos fall down
I finally find a quarter
but it's stuck to the floor between the records at the wall
I go and fetch a broom
to un-wedge the quarter
it's not a lost cause
'cause while doing that
I knocked some more stuff over
and find a bunch of pennies from kariki change

I walk up to the glass
the lady smiles at me
she pushes on the button
and unlocks the door
they know me by my face
but they don't know my name
I'm not that bad
